How to become a drop spot vendor or coordinate Chit Chats community shipping



We are committed to helping Canadian entrepreneurs achieve their dreams but we haven’t been able to bring a Chit Chats location to each and every one of you just yet! We are working hard to offer more access points in key metropolitan cities across Canada however this does take time. As we work towards new locations, there are a few ways to bring Chit Chats closer to you. 




Host a Drop Spot




Do you have a retail storefront or street-level office? Want to increase foot traffic and earn some extra money that you can put towards shipping or rent? Consider hosting a Chit Chats drop spot.




Our current plans for new drop spot locations will focus on metropolitan areas and we are working on having drop spots in Edmonton and Ottawa in the near future.




Requirements for becoming a drop spot vendor:





  • At least 100 sq ft of street-level space 

  • Consistent weekday hours (e.g. Monday to Friday ~ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm)

  • Friendly staff who can receive packages and direct clients to our support team for help




We will provide you with the training, collateral and equipment you need to get started. We also pay a commission for every package you receive. If you are interested in hosting a drop spot, please submit your information here.




Coordinate Community/Group Shipping




Even if you area isn’t in our immediate plans, we are still committed to finding a solution for you and other like-minded locals. Suggested by a Chit Chats client, we are running a pilot Community shipping project in areas without a Chit Chats. 




Requirements for becoming a group shipping coordinator:





  • Space to collect packages

  • Available for two-three hours a day on weekdays




Our aim with community shipping is to help reduce costs by bringing shippers together and to grow interest in the area. If you are interested in community shipping, please submit your information here. We will contact you if a pilot becomes available in your area. 




For the curious, we would consider opening a new drop spot location for volumes upwards of 150 shipments a day and a new branch for volumes over 1000 shipments a day.
