To request a refund on unused postage, select the shipment you want to refund and click 'Request refund' from the options at the bottom of the page. This will also initiate a refund for the shipment delivery and insurance fees, if applicable.
Refunded shipments are moved to your Voided tab and are refunded as credits back on your account.
Important! When you refund postage you are confirming that any previously printed postage was never used.
USPS
It may take up to 20 business days for USPS to refund your postage as they verify the postage has not been used. You can check the status of your refund by clicking on 'Tracking History' for the shipment.
Postage refunds must be initiated within 29 days of creating the postage.
UPS MI*
As long as your shipment hasn't been received at a Chit Chats branch, your refund will be processed immediately.
Asendia
As long as your shipment hasn't been received at a Chit Chats branch, your refund will be processed immediately.
Chit Chats Canada Tracked
It may take up to 20 business days for Canada Post to refund your postage as they verify the postage has not been used. You can check the status of your refund by clicking on 'Tracking History' for the shipment.
Postage refunds must be initiated within 7 days of creating the postage.
Chit Chats International Standard*
As long as your shipment hasn't been received at a Chit Chats branch, your refund will be processed immediately.
