This step of the import is optional and can be by-passed without editing by selecting Import at the bottom of the page.
If you are uploading multiple shipments to your Chit Chats account, you may also want to make changes to multiple shipments at the same time.
Upon importing your shipments, you will be given the opportunity to update the details of all or to just change a few of your shipments (Step 3). The following attributes can be updated simultaneously (in any valid combination):
- Type of contents
- Description of contents
- Retail value
- Package
- Weight
- Size
- Postage
- Ship date
- Signature confirmation*
- Insurance*
*Editing these options may incur additional charges.
Important
Edits will only be applied to the shipments you select in Step 3 of the import. You will be given a chance to edit a different group of shipments upon saving your edits. A symbol will appear next to previously edited shipments.
At this time, the editing of multiple shipments is only available at the time of import and cannot be applied to existing pending shipments. If you realize an error was made during the import, you may do any of the following:
- Cancel the import and try again,
- Delete the incorrectly imported shipments from your pending shipments and start the import over or,
Individually edit the pending shipments.
