USPS offers a service called Signature Confirmation that requires a signature from the recipient of their package. This is an additional service that can be added to eligible shipments for an extra fee.
Currently signature confirmation is only available when buying postage from Chit Chats and is a U.S. address with the following postage types:
- USPS First Class Mail (Package type: thick envelope or parcel)
- USPS Priority Mail
- USPS Media Mail*
- USPS Parcel Select*
*Some services may only be available for grandfathered accounts.
